Runescape F2P Money Making Guide

This guide teaches how to make money in Runescape F2P. You don't need combat to make money, in fact a level 3 can make good money in RS3.

Chickens are level 2 and can drop feathers, chicken meat and bones. At the chicken farms eggs spawn, you can either just pick up the eggs or kill the chickens and sell everything, the bank at Lumbridge is really close so you can easily make 300k an hour up to 600k per hour depending on the price of the eggs, eggs have been going up and down a lot so I usually sell them for -%5 on GE.

Guards are level 25 and can drop 3 grapes at a time, I have made 200k-400k an hour killing guards for grapes and selling the grapes on GE.

High Alching items in Runescape is one of the oldest money making methods, compare GE prices of the items and alch value when buying to find the best items for alch. The gp you make depends on the profit and time you spend.

Iron

You can mine more iron per hour than you can Runite or Luminite, iron can be a decent source of money for low levels with little to no risk.

Runite/Luminite

After the Mining and Smithing update, Runite and Luminite prices have been mostly fluctuating between 750gp and up to 1400gp. A good idea is to to try stockpile as much as you can when prices are lower and when prices go higher again sell them and make a little extra money than selling for a lower price.

Gold bars can be made into various jewelry, some people have reported making good money from enchanted defence amulets, or making rings of luck.

Rune

Rune smithing can turn 1m gp worth of luminite and runite ores into 4m. By smithing rune arrowheads I found a 20%-40% increase of profits compared to mining, just more clicking and work involved, arrowheads are practically always in demand and more stable.

Gold

Smelting gold ore into gold bars is profitable you can make 500k an hour if the price is good.

You can make up 500k-2M an hour in the wilderness collecting cursed energy, depending on how many times you get killed or have to run from PKers who take your cursed energy. If you carry nothing while collecting cursed energy you don't risk much, if you bank every 5-10 minutes you can make some good money. You can make extra money killing any bots if there are any. Never risk your account by botting, you will make more money if you can actually run from PKers.
